“Thanks to the favorable climate, developed infrastructure, quality of services and qualified personnel, the south of Turkey has become an ideal place for holding events of various levels,” said the head of ATAV.

Ege noted that congress and exhibition tourism is distinguished by high profitability and the ability to hold events all year round.

“Congresses, symposia, exhibitions, meetings of various levels contribute to the development of other areas of tourism. In 2019, a total of 115 congresses were organized in Antalya, in 2020 – 37 congresses. For 8 months of this year, the “tourist capital” has already hosted 128 events”, – said the head of ATAV.
