Passenger traffic at Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in Istanbul in January-July increased by 34 percent compared to the same period last year – up to 11.8 million people.
In January-July 2020, this figure was 8.7 million people.
According to the data received, 2.9 million passengers used the services of the air harbor in July. This is the highest monthly rate in 2021.
In June, 2.2 million passengers used the services of the international airport.
In January-July, passenger traffic on domestic routes amounted to 8.2 million, on international – 3.6 million.
Sabiha Gokcen International Airport served 86 106 flights in seven months, which is 43 percent more than last year.
In January-July, 56,499 flights were performed on domestic routes, and 29,607 flights on international routes.
