Passenger traffic at Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in Istanbul was 104,508 on July 17, a record figure since the start of the pandemic.
Passenger traffic has grown sharply on the eve of Eid al-Adha. Most of the passengers were citizens wishing to visit their relatives on holidays.
On Wednesday, July 14, passenger traffic at the airport was 89,959, on July 15 – 94,980, on July 16 – 101,245 people and on July 17, it reached a record of 104,508.
On Sunday, 674 flights are planned to be served at Sabiha Gokcen Airport.
