Türkiye exports transport vehicles to 68 countries

Türkiye exported buses, minibuses and midibuses to 68 countries in January-June 2022. The Anadolu agency provides such data with reference to the Association of Exporters of Automotive Products of the Uludag Region of Türkiye.

Exports of buses, minibuses and midibuses (single-decker minibuses, more than minibuses, but less than full-size single-decker buses) from Türkiye in the first half of the year increased by 13.98 percent compared to the same period last year – from $509.9 million to $581 .2 million dollars.

France became the main importer of these products from Türkiye in the first half of the year. Sales rose 18.23 percent from $125.6 million to $148.5 million.

In second place is Portugal. In January-June, the export of buses, minibuses and midibuses from Türkiye to Portugal increased from $2.3 million to $62.9 million.

Next comes Germany. Nevertheless, sales of the said products from Türkiye to Germany in the first quarter of the year decreased by 18.61 percent – from $68.3 million to $55.6 million.

In January-June, the export of buses, minibuses and midibuses from Türkiye to Nakhchivan (Azerbaijan) increased from $4.3 million to $41.7 million.

The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan in the first half of the year became the fourth largest market for sales of this product from Türkiye.

Italy is in fifth place. Export of buses, minibuses and midibuses from Türkiye to this European country in the first half of the year increased by 3.5 percent – from $35.9 million to $37.1 million.

In the first half of the year, the growth of exports of these products from Türkiye to the UK amounted to 281.18 percent – up to $30.3 million.

Romania is on the seventh line. Exports of buses, minibuses and midibuses from Türkiye to Romania increased by 65.91 percent to almost $18 million.

Export of the same products to the Czech Republic increased by 123.1 percent – up to $17.8 million, and to Poland – by 345.22 percent – up to $15.9 million.

Spain closes the top 10 importers of Turkish-made buses, minibuses and midibuses.

Export of these products from Türkiye to Spain in the first half of the year increased by 105.32 percent – up to $14.5 million.
