Uzbekistan received 200 thousand doses of Sinovac vaccine from Turkey

On the morning of October 13, a batch of 200 thousand doses of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine, as well as 20 thousand packages of the medicine “Favipiravir,” was delivered to Tashkent from Istanbul.
This was reported by gazeta.uz with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

This is the sixth type of coronavirus vaccine to be applied in Uzbekistan.

The drug was donated by the Turkish government.

In total, Uzbekistan received or purchased over 28.67 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

More than 22.95 million doses have been administered to date.

More than 5.32 million people have been fully vaccinated.
