The number of tourists arriving in Antalya by air since the beginning of the year has reached 6 million people.
According to the provincial governor’s office, the number of tourists in Antalya continues to grow.
The “tourist capital” of Turkey continues to attract the attention of tourists from all over the world with its nature, sea, sand and historical monuments.
“The number of foreign tourists in Antalya has grown by 202% since the beginning of the year compared to the same period last year. In total, 6,041,439 foreign tourists have visited Antalya to this day. Last year, in the first 13 days of September, the province was visited by 445,097 tourists, this year – 757,461. The increase was 70%,” the statement said.
The report notes that tourist sites in Turkey continue to comply with all measures to counter the coronavirus.
