Antalya ready to welcome tourists from Ukraine

The first tourists from Ukraine will begin to arrive in the tourist capital of Turkey – Antalya from July 1.

Tourist sites in Antalya have completed the preparations for the new season in accordance with the health safety criteria defined by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey and are ready to receive vacationers.

Every year, resorts in the south of Turkey are visited by millions of foreign tourists, and Ukraine ranks third in terms of the number of holidaymakers in Antalya.

Against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, Antalya tourist sites have taken special security measures at all stages – from receiving guests, starting from airport transfers and check-in at the hotel and throughout your vacation.

A statement by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky that flights to Turkey will be restarted from July 1 was good news for Turkish tourism.

The Consul General of Ukraine in Antalya, Vyacheslav Khomenko, told Anadolu Agency that in connection with the opening of charter flights to Antalya, a large number of Ukrainian tourists from various cities of Ukraine is expected from July 1.

According to him, citizens of Ukraine like to relax in Antalya and the number of Ukrainian tourists is growing every year. The sun, the sea, the hospitality of the Turkish people and the all-inclusive concept are the main reasons why Ukrainians choose a holiday in Turkey, Khromenko said.
