Turkey donated 200 thousand doses of Sinovac vaccine to Uzbekistan

A batch of vaccine against the Chinese-made Sinovac coronavirus in the amount of 200 thousand doses, as well as 20 thousand packages of the drug “Favipiravir” were delivered to Tashkent from Istanbul on the morning of October 13.

This was reported by gazeta.uz with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

This is the sixth type of coronavirus vaccine to be applied in Uzbekistan.

The drug was donated by the Turkish government.

In total, Uzbekistan received free of charge or purchased over 28.67 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

To date, more than 22.95 million doses have been used.

More than 5.32 million people have been vaccinated fully.
