Fully vaccinated people in Turkey to receive vaccination IDs

People who received two COVID-19 vaccine doses in Turkey will be able apply for a “vaccine identification.”

Those vaccinated will have to apply for the ID through the government-run HES application, which was developed to help the authorities track COVID-19 infections, recoveries and contacts.

The Turkish Health Ministry will be in charge of issuing the IDs.

The vaccine ID will contain the person’s name and surname, date of birth, Turkish identification number, or passport number for foreigners.

In addition, the identity card includes the name of the vaccine with the person and the date it was administered and the “Safe Tourism” logo of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

When the data matrix on the card is scanned, the system directs it to e-Nabız website and the personal information of the person in both Turkish and English.
