Hotels in one of Turkey’s most popular touristic destinations Bodrum started preparations for the upcoming summer season amid the new coronavirus pandemic.
Within the scope of the measures taken against coronavirus, the common areas of use in the hotels in Bodrum, which is located in Mugla province, were arranged according to the social distance rules.
The table ranges in the restaurants were determined as 2 meters and 10 centimeters, while the buffet system was also changed.
Hand sanitizers will be available in almost every point of the hotels, while hotel staff will also serve with masks and gloves on.
Hotels will be frequently disinfected with ULV devices.
The preparations began after the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced that the tourism season will start in the beginning of June.
Umut Türkeş, who works as a purchasing manager at a hotel in Bodrum, said they were very hopeful of the new season.
“We will continue to do everything necessary. Our customer’s health is more important to us than anything else,” he said.
