Istanbul Airport world’s 2nd busiest by international passenger traffic

Airports Council International (ACI World) has named the 10 busiest airports in the world for 2021.

The world’s busiest airports were also named in terms of the number of passengers on international flights. Istanbul Airport ranked second on this list with 26.46 million passengers. Only Dubai Airport had a higher figure – 29.1 million passengers.

In general, Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta is recognized as the busiest airport in the world – 75.7 million people.

The second busiest was Dallas Fort Worth International Airport with 62.5 million passengers.

The third place in the ranking was occupied by Denver International Airport – 58.8 million passengers per year.

According to the report, eight of the ten largest airports by passenger traffic are in the United States, and two are in China.
