Moldova and Turkey agree on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates

Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) announced the success of bilateral negotiations on the mutual recognition of national certificates of immunization against COVID-19 issued by the competent authorities of Moldova and Turkey, MOLDPRES reported citing the press service of the MFAEI.

Thus, vaccinated citizens of Moldova and persons legally residing in this country, upon entering Turkey, will be exempted from the PCR test and will not be placed in isolation upon presentation of a national COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by the competent national authorities.

This procedure applies to all nationally approved vaccines in both countries.

Turkey is the fourth country after Hungary, Ukraine and Georgia, with which Moldova has reached a bilateral agreement on the mutual recognition of national vaccination certificates, the report says.
