Over 230,000 passengers arrived in Turkey in June and July

Amid the normalization process in Turkey amid the COVID-19 outbreak, flights from Turkish airports to seven European countries resumed on June 1, and by June 11 this figure reached 31 states.

With the restart of air traffic in June, a total of 234,279 passengers arrived in Turkey, and 98,522 departed. Passenger traffic totaled 332,831.

According to the results of last month, the largest passenger traffic on international airlines in Turkey was recorded on flights to Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Belgium and Austria.

The largest number of passengers in June arrived from Germany (124,767 people). The following are the Netherlands (15,317) and the United Kingdom (14,755).

Ankara has already reached an agreement to resume flights with another 20 countries.
