Turkey eases entry rules for visitors from Russia

The Turkish authorities have made it a little easier for some groups of Russians to enter the country.

According to the new rules, vaccinated tourists from Russia don’t need to have a negative PCR test result. Both doses of the vaccine must be administered no later than 14 days prior to arrival.

Visitors who have had COVID-19 in the past six months are also exempt from the PCR test requirement. Upon entry, people will only need to provide an official certificate of recovery from the health authorities of their country.

In addition, now, instead of a PCR test, it is possible to present the results of a test for antigens (not antibodies) to coronavirus, conducted no earlier than 48 hours before arrival in Turkey.
