Turkey’s touristic association to send letter to 23,5 million tourists who visited Antalya

As Turkey’s southern province of Antalya is getting ready to welcome tourists during the upcoming summer season Mediterranean Touristic Hoteliers Association (AKTOB) prepared a letter for 23,5 million people, who visited Antalya last year.

Titled “Sun and more” the letter, which was translated to Turkish, Russia, German and English, will be sent to 7,5 million local and 16 million foreign tourists.

“We just want to say ‘Hello’ to you, from Antalya…” the letter said.

“Our city is simply not the same without our visitors, who add vibrancy, color and life to our restaurants, shops and streets. Although we will continue to be separated for the upcoming period, we hope to be welcoming you – sooner rather than later – under the shimmering sun that warms our hearts,” the letter said.

Known around the world as a unique destination that offers a combination of fascinating nature and history, the Mediterranean resort city of Antalya is getting ready for the upcoming summer season by taking precautions against the virus.

Hosting the greatest number of hotels and 42% of the 1.2 million beds certified by the ministry across the country, the city attracts tourists from 193 countries.

While Antalya is one of the most important tourism destinations in the world with its beaches, bays, quality of service in its hotels, historical and cultural values, its inns are also a center of attraction.
