Turkish Airlines ranks second in Europe in terms of the number of flights

Turkey’s flagship civil aviation company, Turkish Airlines, ranks second in Europe in terms of daily flight statistics.

According to the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL), Turkey’s national air carrier performed an average of 1,322 flights a day from 23 to 29 August.

The first place on the continent in terms of the number of flights operated is occupied by the Irish Ryanair – 2,318 flights per day.

The third place belongs to the British Easyjet – 1,186 flights.

Another Turkish airline Pegasus is in 9th place with 510 flights.

During this period, 175,384 flights were made in Europe.
